Residential programs in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties offer a home-like atmosphere with 24/7 supervision that provide specialized and restorative services to children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, and opioid use disorders with the goal of helping individuals prepare to live within the community. We also provide apartment programs and temporary rental assistance with care management services.

The Child and Youth Program is an eight-bed facility located in Watertown serving adolescent males ages 12-17 diagnosed with a mental health disorder. Community Residences (Certified by OMH)

With locations in Watertown, Gouverneur and Clayton, this program assists residents in coordinating and accessing needed services within the community, such as behavioral health and medical services, substance use services, employment, and day programming. Specialized services are provided by Qualified Mental Health Staff & Professionals, including completing assessments, and person-centered strength-based creation of individualized action plans to meet residents’ needs and goals. Staff work together with residents and community providers to ensure continuity of care. These THRIVE staff also provide targeted one-on-one rehabilitation services to increase independent living skills to assist in the transition to independent community living.

THRIVE’s Reintegration Residential Programs for men and women are dedicated to providing services in the early stages of recovery from alcohol and/or chemical dependence. Referrals are accepted for individuals seeking a sober group living situation that encourages responsibility. The program provides a family atmosphere that promotes individuality, healthy decision making and improvement of self-awareness. Residential Rehabilitative Services for Youth (The Farm) (Certified by OASAS)

The Farm offers a holistic rehabilitative environment for young men ages 16 to 20 with a substance abuse diagnosis. The program is individualized to meet each resident’s diverse needs and offers a variable length of stay up to 12 months with the average of 6 to 8 months.
